Meditation is powerful!! It has had an absolutely positive impact on my life.
A couple of years ago I started with a few minutes in the car before heading into work in the morning and my life has done a complete 180 from where I was when I started. Now, I meditate atleast once a day, often 2-3 times depending on what’s going on. And I encourage my kids to do the same.
Meditation is different for everyone and there is no right or wrong way to do it. I desire for the kids to find how they enjoy to meditate so I continuously look for ways to incorporate it into our family’s daily life and make it fun for all of us. We meditate together or on our own! I don’t force it but rather just lead by example and they join in or not.
Meditation is a practice, NOT a result, do not worry about the outcome. Enjoy the process, Focus on the moment and do NOT judge.
Meditation can be done for ANY REASON!
We meditate when:
*looking for guidance
*desiring more energy
*desiring to feel calm
*we just feel like meditating!
We meditate ANY & ALL THE TIME!
*in the morning
*in the afternoon
*in the evening
*before a big test
*before a reiki client session
*when we wake up or before we go to sleep
Meditation can be done ANYWHERE!
We meditate while:
*in the car in parking lot outside school or work
*in bed before heading off to sleep
*on the couch
*on the soccer field (especially before a big game or potential game winning PK)
*in our special meditation spot at home
Meditation can be done ANY WAY that works for you!
Meditation can be done by focusing on your breath, using a mantra, listening to a recorded
of a guided meditation or simply walking in nature.
Meditation is SIMPLE!
Fancy pillows, hand poses, sitting positions and places are not required.
Meditation has so many BENEFITS!
* reduced stress, anxiety & depression,
*increased intuition, self esteem & creativity
*improved communication, self awareness & sleep
*And so much more…..
*it can help to make your dreams come true.
Keep in mind, this does not happen with one 5 minute meditation. Just like one piece of broccoli doesn’t make you healthy, one meditation will not make you Zen! But one meditation is the first step…. And with a bunch of steps you will enjoy the benefits and improve your life!
The key to Meditation is JUST DO IT!!! Keep it Simple, Be Consistent & Persevere.
